This western oil painting depicts everything I enjoy about painting the contemporary American cowboy. In this scene, a rancher is riding a fine horse, the grass is good and the cattle are sleek and fat. Overall, the horse, cattle, and even the land are in the rancher’s hands. They are “In Good Hands”.
