Redwood Station Square Entry Table made of reclaimed materials
By Reid Crosby
While the name may seem a little cumbersome, it reminds me of the origins and unique nature of this table. I found the redwood in a non profit building material store in Pittsburgh, and they had been trash cans in Station Square in downtown. They would have likely lasted another lifetime should they had not replaced them w/ plastic or steel. The metal is recycled gravel screen, and various other material (not seen). The base is a piece of Canadian Shield granite, deposited in Erie Pa. and later (much later) used as a barn foundation stone. I purchase a lot of stone from a barn demo guy up that way.
