Specialty sheepskin, leathers, silks, velvets, and denim often form the canvas.

A “collage of techniques” hand-painting, beadwork, semi-precious stones and embroidery bring the story to the canvas that is MahVay Design.

Wynd Novotny grew up on the Great Lakes and migrated West as soon as she was ready to leave home and venture off on her own.

Finn Alden is a recent immigrant to the West from his Norse homeland. As soon as he drove into Cody, Wyoming, in 2003 he put on a cowboy hat and hasn't taken it off since. The couple currently live and work in northern California.
