After graduating from West Chester University Michael worked several years in the private sector in southeastern Pennsylvania.  In 1975 he enlisted with the Pennsylvania State Police. In 26 years, Michael served in various locations through out the commonwealth. During those years he advanced through the ranks retiring as a lieutenant and station commander. He had always enjoyed woodworking and when he moved to New York State it seemed only natural to apply his skills to making rustic furniture. In September of 2007, Michael was honored at the 20^th Annual Rustic Fair at the Adirondack Museum with the Outstanding Decorative Arts Award. Michael feels fortunate to own and operate a rustic furniture gallery to showcase his work. His showcase, Adirondack Mountain Rustic Gallery, is located on New York route 149 in Fort Ann, New York, approximately 10 minutes from Lake George, New York.
