Passionate about beauty and known for her exquisite craftsmanship in western clothing, Julie Ewing of Bastrop, Texas, creates the unexpected.

Blending sumptuous leathers, exquisite fabrics, vintage crystals and handpicked beads, each piece takes on her trademark look.

"Although beadwork plays an integral part in many of my designs, I also love blending scrumptious, smooth leathers, suedes and metallics, sometimes adding exquisite beaded lace, and often mixing in feathers, faux fur, and vintage crystals," Julie says.

In her 20 years in western design, four Miss Rodeo Americas have been crowned wearing Julie's creations, in addition to numerous local and state rodeo queen title winners.

Her work has been featured in juried shows, museums and in books and magazines. An avid lover of nature, Julie sees in it endless inspiration for design. Her style is also influenced by vintage fashion designers and Paris haute couture, with its flamboyant and very detailed sense of design and emphasis on glamour, elegance and grace.

Her newest line is the "Crazy Horse," stick-horse collection. Her "Ciao Bella," line of couture dog jackets will be launched in the early fall.
