A leather craftsman for nearly thirty-eight years, Chris Chapman spent much of her early career doing historical research and reproduction work.  The work encompassed sixteenth century European leather clothing and artifacts, and creating museum-quality reproductions of Native American and early American garments and artifacts, including bead and quill work. 

After the birth of her daughter in 1991, Chris decided to focus her collective talents on the creation of leather bonded furniture.  From enormous armoires and tables and mirrors, custom cabinets, and bars, Chris's work brings a fresh perspective to the medium, which she finds incredibly versatile in that it can adapt to nearly any time period, style and design-from classic western and Spanish Territorial, to Victorian, Old English, and Art Deco.
